Iran Kaolin & Barite Co. established in 1992, in order to produce and supply micronized powders for different industries in Semnan Province, IRAN.

By consideration of rich resources of qualified Barite, Hematite, Bentonite, Calcium Carbonate and Kaolin along with well-equipped Q.C laboratories and expert human resources, Kaobar produces different grade of micronized powders comply with international standard such as API (American Petroleum Institute), OCMA (Oil Company Material Association), and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) with the annual Capacity of 150,000 metric ton in two different processing, grinding and packaging facilities.

Kaobar is one of the main manufacturer of micronized drilling Powder for Oil and natural gas industries, ceramic, painting, casting, and standard filler for concrete in Iran.

Kaobar achieved ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 certificates for quality management, environmental management, and also health & safety management for its products and known as one of the main supplier of NIOC IRAN, and one of the biggest exporter of drilling powders to the Middle East, Russia, CIS Countries ( Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan), Turkey, and etc.
